Université Côte d’Azur, GREDEG , and the MSHS Sud-Est are pleased to welcome the 8th annual conference of the French Association of Law and Economics (AFED) on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 October 2023.

The conference provides an opportunity to discuss various topics among researchers and practitioners interested in themes that can be analysed through a multidisciplinary approach in law and economics (law and public policies, digital, etc.) .

All submissions in economics and law that either present original research or address real-world issues faced by legal practitioners are welcome.

Parallel sessions, plenary sessions and round tables, will be held in French or English.

 The two invited speakers are: Nataliia Bielova (Inria research centre at Université Côte d'Azur) and Maarten Pieter Schinkel (University of Amsterdam)

Two papers will be selected for possible publication in the special "European Association" issue of the European Journal of Law and Economics.
